Meet the Makers: BONNSU
Our Meet the Makers series aims to introduce some of the amazing brands we carry. Modern Kids Design is proud to partner with environmentally-minded makers who infuse their products with style. That’s why we knew we had to mention BONNSU in this round up.
BONNSU: Tableware to Grow With
As parents, we quickly go through baby products. Baby onesies are replaced every few months as children grow. Bedding and toys may also need to upgraded. But we don’t tend to think about children’s tableware. From sippy cups to toddler cutlery, there are plenty of smaller-sized items needed to help children eat comfortably and to learn to feed themselves.
Dismayed by the plastic tableware for children that seemed to be outgrown too quickly, BONNSU designers Adam and Ai introduced a solution: Miniware.
BONNSU Miniware Brings Style to the Table
Made from bamboo, Miniware is perfect for small hands. The Miniware master set features a cereal bowl, a snack bowl, and a plate. Plus, with two suction cups, you can affix the bowls or plates to the table to keep them stationary as your child eats. Add the cutlery set that features rounded handles for small hands and notches to keep the spoon or fork from falling into the plate, and your little one is ready to eat in style.
The travel set is useful when visiting family and friends or even a trip to the park! A sandwich plate, cutlery, a suction cup, and a travel bag ensure you have everything you need for your little one to eat happily and comfortably.
We love that it “grows” with your kids. When they no longer need suction cups to keep their plates or bowls from slipping, there’s no need to buy new plates. Miniware can grow with your child and stay in your cupboard for years to come. Many parents have also said that they like that the dishes blend well and complement adult place settings. And when it’s time to move on? Miniware can be composted. What could be more perfect than that? Of course, we’d love to hear what you think too.
